The transfer of Peter Clarke has been finalised.

Blackpool accepted an offer form Southend and Clarke has agreed terms and passed a medical at Roots Hall.

It is a huge loss to the seasiders, and the fans want to see several signings before Saturday to partly heal this huge loss.

Clarke's one and only reason for leaving was that he wanted to play in The Championship.
