Larry Misses Out On Two...

Simon Grayson has today admitted that he has lost out on two of his top transfer targets.

Speaking to Matt Williams on the official site, Grayson said that Chris Shuker had agreed to become a seasider on Friday, and was driving in to sign the deal, only for him to change his mind and head down the motorway to rivals Tranmere.

This is a bitter blow for the Blackpool boss, as he also lost out to an unnamed player, widely believed to be John Mullin, who failed to turn up for his medical. Mullin also moved to Tranmere, who look like they have a manager able to bring in a mass amount of players in Ronnie Moore. The former Oldham boss last season brought in numerous players to Boundary Park, including Richie Wellens and Paul Edwards. He seems to have a decent record in the transfer market.
