Premiership Midfielder Snatched

Blackpool have completed the loan signing of Blackburn Rovers midfielder Gary Harkins.

The 20 year old Scot has been a regular in the Premiership side's squad this season and Simon Grayson was highly impressed with the player on Monday whilst watching him captain Rover's reserve side to victory over Bolton.

He is described as a combative and committed midfielder, but Harkins is also capable of playing in the centre of defence and has previous league experience with Bury and Huddersfield.

Harkins has been given the number 29 shirt and is expected to make his debut on Saturday against Colchester United.
