As well as announcing who'd be leaving Bloomfield road it was also announced that five players who were out of contract would be staying.

Going are Les Pogliacomi, Stuart Anderson, Tony Butler, Matt Shaw, Rob Edwards, Danny Warrender and Jason Wilcox.

Staying for another year will be Lee Jones, Phil Doughty, Ciaran Donnelly and Rory Prendergast. They have all had their one-year extensions activated, Simon Wiles has had his extended to two years.

Other news from the club was that talks with Neil Wood and Marcus Bean were on going and that negotiations with Keith Lasley will start soon with a view to the midfielder signing up.

So the squad is stating to shape up for next year.

Keith Lasley should do well. He never got a chance at Plymouth
