'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A vital player

Clarke won with just over half of the votes, Lee Jones who also won several other player of the year awards came in second with 27% of the votes. Keigan Parker and Marc Joseph can in joint third with 9% of the votes each.

Clarke made his 70th consecutive league appearance in the Gillingham game on Saturday. But in the final few moments did suffer a nasty injury from going into a big tackle with Gills striker Darren Byfeild. Clarke suffered knee ligaments damages and is set to out for six weeks.

Fortunately the centre back will be back for the pre-season, but now will have to undergo treatment throughout the summer months.

Our site poll now turns its attention to next season with a view to the areas that we need to strengthen. With an announcement due soon about who is staying and who is going to be leaving Bloomfield Road we want your views on what position will need new blood.

So get voting!
