Rochdale's first game thanks to an own goal by Dane Matthews. The second came after Blair Sturrock disposed trialist Craig Cushion and smashed as shot past Clancy. The game was wrapped up when Theo Coleman smashed in a volley.

Not the best of nights for the second string.
