The Clarets took the lead in the match thanks to a Duane Courtney volley after six minutes.

Steve Davis’ side should have gone onto score a couple more but a headed goal from new loan signing Kevin Lee just before half time put the team’s level at the half time break.

After the break a goal from Sean Paterson gave the Pool’ the lead and a Paterson got his second of the match to make it 3-1 to Steve Thompson’s side.
