Burns to Bury

Burns, 22, has only made six appearances this season which has been dogged by injuries, including an ankle operation. Since breaking into the first team squad in 2002 the former Manchester City trainee had made 38 league starts managing to bag 4 goals.

Manager Simon Grayson commented on Burns' move to Bury today on the clubs offical website.

'Jamie has been a bit unlucky with injuries this season and now he is fit again he is desperate to play games. Hopefully by going to Bury he will play some football and enjoy the experience of being at another club.'

Burns joins former pool loanee Lewis Gobern who today also joined Bury on loan.
