The Famous Five.......

Peter Walton joins an elite list of referees that have officiated Blackpool matches this year as he prepares to take charge of the basement scrap on Saturday.

He has been present on two occassions before. The 3-0 drumming against Crewe at Gresty Road being his last Pool game. He also witnessed in 2000 a 2-1 win against Notts County where Phil Clarkson and Chris Lumsdon scored.

He joins Phil Dowd, Chris Foy, Dermot Gallagher and Matt Messias on the roll call of top referees at Blackpool this year.
