Tangerine Red Rage

For the third time in four games the Seasiders ended the ninety minutes last night with ten men, which now make's the Tangerines the dirtiest team in the league.

The defeat last night moves the Pool nearer to the bottom of the league but now they also take up the unwanted position of bottom of the fair play league.

Jason Wilcox's red card last night was the Seasiders sixth red of the season, the others coming from Wood, Edwards, Butler (two bookings), Parker and Donnelly. The only team in the league who haven't picked up a red card in the league this season are Port Vale.

In the yellow card stakes the Seasiders have notched up 63 bookings the highest in the league along with Swansea with 63 also, who come in at 23rd in the fair play league.

Top of the fair play league are Saturday's opponents, Bournemouth who have only picked up 28 bookings (lowest in the league) and two red cards.

For the game on the south coast Pool will be able to call upon Neil Wood who has now severed his three match ban after the ‘leg-breaker' up at Hartlepool. Also back is Tony Butler who saw red at the National Hockey Stadium for two bookings. The only player now missing due to suspension is Jason Wilcox who serves a one match ban.
